Life Conversations Radio Grants Free Advertising Time to Local Businesses With New Swap Programme LifeConversationsRadio.com is putting a spin on web based affiliate programmes by offering strategic commerce exchanges to non-web based businesses. The new affiliate programme of the community radio station, called the Buddy System, grants hundreds of locally based businesses free advertising airtime in exchange for playing the live broadcast in their places of business.

The implementation of the Buddy System will establish LifeConversationsRadio.com as the liaison between the worldwide web and the small communities of East Sussex. Web based affiliate programs are intended to generate a mass of currency to merchants whose sites generate a lot of traffic due to online spending habits, but the exchange criteria between East Sussex businesses and LifeConversationsRadio.com is more suitable to business needs.

The Buddy System takes effect during "Community Hour" a series of programming from 12-5pm where local residents are encouraged to tune in to hear programming targeted exclusively to members of the East Sussex community. During this time slot listeners expect to hear local community groups and businesses, artists, and information about various activities in the town. The participating "buddy" will receive a twenty-minute interview promoting their product or service. LifeConversationsRadio.com, as a global 24-hour Internet station, plans to boost commerce in East Sussex via this strategic exchange system.

Co-Founder of Life Conversations Radio, Ade Anifowose comments, "LifeConversationsRadio.com is intended to be the voice of a diverse global community, but we can't stretch our arms so far [internationally] that we reach over the people right here in our area." LifeConversationsRadio.com founders intend to participate in standard affiliate programs after the Buddy System reaches the maximum number of subscribers, which is currently set at twenty-five (25).
